The David Project
Why David? Why Now?
We see God’s hand revealed when he moves the pieces on the chessboard in ways no one else can.
We notice things. Like when the top family movie of the year and the top-ranked TV series are both about David in the same year—we ask the obvious question:
Why David? Why now? Is God doing something?
The David Project exists to find answers… to all things David.
Who are we?
We are an assorted team of entrepreneurs, philanthropists, technologists, artists, researchers, scholars, authors, influencers, young people, and above all: concerned friends, moms, dads, and grandparents.
Our organization is called Liberty and Light, dba The Covenant Project, a 501(c)(3). The David Project is where we begin.
What do we believe?
We search the scriptures. We believe in the same God that David did. We study trends, psychology, marketing, literature, history, and more—because we’re convinced that God’s pattern in David is not just a past story of greatness and tragedy, but promises answers for our lives, human as we may be.
Our values align around what we call the David Code: five lived virtues that operationalize truth—
Faith, Humility, Courage, Honesty, and Responsibility.

What Made David So Powerful?
Most people know David faced a lion, a bear, Goliath, and Saul. Tradition says he fought 66 battles, and never lost. He survived 21 assasination attempts and died of old age. Only the hand of God makes that happen.
We have more biographical information about him in the scriptures than anyone except Jesus Christ and Moses. Where does that lead us?
Few understand God made an astonishing covenant with David—including the promise that his descendant would be the coming “Son of David.” The end-time echoes have made generations ask,
“Could there be more to David than we’ve been taught?”

We are partnering with media companies that bring excellence to David’s story. We’re building a digital platform for transformed discipleship, a content engine designed for mass reach, and a community that will diligently search until we find answers.
